How to hook up home theatre system for best sound on regular tv channels? - home theatre system installation
I hope someone here can help me.
I have a 40 "HD LCD TV with home theater system. Of course, to win, I do not guarantee or installation. I have done something wrong and the dome may have installation instructions are found, not helpful.
I have an amazing picture and sound when playing a DVD. I have a TV show on a DVD and play with wonderful results. But to see the live TV program is hohum. The same as if no noise. Hook on my cable box digital cable black. I have a video player. The cable box and VCR is the theater with the red / white wire or red / white yellow / cable connected. I have an HDMI cable to a TV drama.
What am I doing wrong?

If you use the exact model that you enter a best connection to connect to can be provided, so far everything is a guessing game.
From your description, I'm not quite sure how the routing of signals. If you watch TV regularly by the black box, digital cable, "you must connect the box audio output cable into your home theater system. If it's red with RCA cables and then know if you should check that the cable digital audio output - coaxial or optical support, if your home theater is also compatible with digital audio input. It will give you a better sound.
You are not wrong, its base of television is only two-or 2.0-channel sound, at best,
Change your way of listening to Dolby Digital to Dolby Pro Logic 1 or 2 It can be heard and go 2.0 or 4.0 to 5.1, depending on whether you are 1 or 2
Your other option is the HDTV broadcasting in 5.1 sound and a DVD to have.

One thing that sound and picture quality could be improved (such as the channel is to see you) to connect the cable directly to a TV. If the channels are not encrypted, the better the image should be, especially when the channels are digital, in which case you may see a marked improvement in sound and image. If it's analog, you should see a slight improvement in picture and sound.
If you are seeing the encrypted channels (like HBO want, etc.), you're probably stuck with a cable box to adjust (unless the TV) has a CableCARD slot. If you have a cable HD cable is ready for enterprise, which has an HDMI output, instead of receiving composite video, you will have better video and sound also.
See this page for a description of the Cable CARDs:

Hope this helps.
has some information about this .. Model, etc. ....
instead of red, yellow and white ... Continue to use a video-red, blue, cable, and greed, and perhaps an optical audio cable if you only have cable service or with the basic red and white
